This is pure cinema, combining several great elements such as LEGO Blacktron, Kubrick, strong notes of Event Horizon, Dark City and perhaps inspiration from Phil Tippett’s ‘Mad God’. The glitchy retro-futuristic visual style, the eerie sounds, and the music create a sense that something dark and strange is happening beneath the rugged plastic surface.
Even the title ‘Echoes.of.a.Dreaming.Skull.VHSRiP.mkv’ is striking. These videos by Stanley Q-Brick deserve to have many more views. This is part three in a trilogy (see parts one and two). Watch it on a big screen, or at least in full screen.
